This UGoveRN session featured Saul Collyns, Senior Social Impact & Public Affairs Lead at a property developer and investor based in London. Saul had led social impact strategy across major UK development projects, including the regeneration of Canada Water and Elephant and Castle. His work focused on leveraging private-sector development as a catalyst for inclusive urban renewal, ensuring projects delivered meaningful benefits for local communities, skills, and economies. In addition to his work in the UK, Saul had also completed independent research on citizenship and governance models in large-scale urban renewal projects in Buenos Aires.

During this live conversation, Saul discussed negotiation processes related to social impact and development in London and the UK, as well as relationship-building and engagement with different stakeholders.
