The podcast presents informal dialogues with experts about how their work connects to daily and ordinary events. Navigating academia and industry during and after a PhD

During the conservation, Andre Legarza talks with Bahar Sakizlioglu and Aleksandra Djurasovic. Bahar Sakizlioglu completed her PhD on displacement experiences in Amsterdam and Istanbul at Utrecht University (NL), a postdoc at the University of Leicester(UK), and is now Assistant Professor at the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies of Erasmus University (NL). Aleksandra Djurasovic completed her PhD on changes in planning systems with a focus on the city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the Hafencity University Hamburg (DE). She also completed a postdoc at the University of Rijeka (HR) and now works as a Senior Housing Specialist at CA Department of Housing and Community Development in Sacramento, California (US).
