Individual Presentations: Numerous UGoveRN members will showcase their research, with a focus on topics closely aligned with urban governance and UGoveRN’s research themes.
Track02 Leadership: Tuna Tasan-Kok will play a key role as a co-chair in Track02: Markets, focusing on planning, financialisation and private actors. This track inherently aligns with UGoveRN’s research theme on planning and property markets.
UGoveRN Roundtable: Under the banner of “Governance and Social Innovation: New Urban Spaces for Cities in Transformation,” a roundtable organized by Federica Scaffidi and Sara Özogul, along with other UGoveRN members, aims to stimulate discourse on spatial governance and social innovation. This event addresses the pressing environmental, social, and economic challenges faced by cities, fostering discussions on transformative scenarios. Key questions to be explored include: How can social innovation drive disruptive urban transformations? What governance tools should planners develop? Under what conditions can transformation effectively take place?
