UGoveRN – BOLSTER Webinar “Energy Transitions Across Mulit-Scalar Governance Levels in Europe”

In March, UGoveRN members participated in an online policy dialogue organized by the BOLSTER project (Bridging Organizations and marginalized communities for Local Sustainability Transitions in EuRope). The event focused on exploring multi-scalar governance in energy transitions across Europe, examining how energy policies cascade through different governance levels and how gaps between EU directives and local implementation can be bridged. The discussion also addressed how marginalized groups are affected by European Green Deal (EGD) policies and whether their inclusion in decision-making processes can enhance support for sustainability transitions. UGoveRN members Tobias Arnoldussen, David Evers, Michiel Stapper, and Andre Legarza contributed to the panel alongside speakers Ana-Maria Elian (Make Better Association, Romania), Nevelina Pachova and Adriana Veran (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology – Europe, Spain).
